Intellectual Thoroughness

Intellectual thoroughness

We teach boys how to think, not what to think, preparing them for a future of problem solving in a complex world. As students master the academic material, they question and discuss key topics, probing deeper into the subject. Boys develop a strong grasp of information and how to use it, equipping them with the critical thinking skills they will need for the depth of inquiry found in higher education and beyond.

Woodberry is committed to providing a space for all kinds of students to live and learn together. The diversity in our student body allows for different voices and opinions to not just be heard, but also discussed, which helps cultivate considerate and able thinkers. Thoroughness in education and critical thinking skills depend on bringing together boys from different backgrounds and cultures.
